When it comes to choosing your newlywed and wedding party portrait locations, you may have the option of using the grounds of the church or reception venue. Lighting for us is everything when it comes to beautiful pictures regardless of the location which means that we’re always looking for GOOD light that is soft, even, and not shining directly in your eyes. We can make any spot look amazing so long has it has that beautiful light that is going in the right direction.
Choosing Locations for Wedding day Photos
It's close to other locations (aim for a 15-minute radius from either the church or reception venue)
The background has greenery, architecture, or trees to diffuse the daylight and creates long shadows
You can stand towards your shadow so that the sun isn't shining directly in your eyes
Reasonable amount of space for your wedding party to stand lined up in a row
The time of day. Some locations are better suited for the morning or the afternoon depending on the lighting
