Transportation

Making sure that you and your wedding party arrive at each location on time is a must! A good transportation plan helps avoid confusion and keep everyone where they need to be!

Have a plan for transportation.

Depending on the transportation option you choose, we are happy to plan for photos inside it with you and your wedding party (Katzie often rides along with the group while Ben follows in our car). If there is something special about the exterior (trolley, vintage car, convertible, etc.) it is fun to save a few extra minutes to take pictures of you posed around it.

To the reception

To the outdoor portrait locations (first look, newlywed, wedding party, etc.) if separate from the ceremony or reception

Plan for how you (and your wedding party) will navigate:

Whatever your transportation plan may be, we encourage you to have someone drive you along the way! The ride between places can be a good chance for you to connect as a couple and it is easier to do that when you’re not also focused on driving directions.

  • Vintage car - your family or their network might have access to a special type of vintage car that you can use for the wedding day.
  • Convertible or luxury car rental - practical with a dash of fun. Typical car rental locations or even Turo can be a good option to look for something that fits your needs and style
  • Personal car - is totally acceptable and practical!
  • Ride with the wedding party (see options below)
